Last month, Bettina completed a residency for the creation of Habitat at La Briqueterie, Centre de développement chorégraphique du Val-de-Marne, in Paris, France. She spent two weeks in the studio and one week in the theatre, trying out new lighting and costume prototypes, and playing with sound spatialization. We are thrilled to announce that Bettina was also able to finish the choreography for the full-length version of Habitat!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone at La Briqueterie for the opportunity to work in their space, and their support of this project. The time we spent at La Briqueterie was invaluable to the evolution of Habitat, and we are extremely grateful.
Petrikor will be continuing work on Habitat during a second residency in Montreal this summer. More details will be released soon!
