After a spring that was focused on the premier and touring of Habitat, Petrikor has arrived in Barcelona and is switching gears. First up: a residency at La Caldera, a dance creation centre, to work on Hélichryse. Invited by the Sebastian Garcia Ferro Dance Company, Bettina will be developing an in-situ version of the piece. Next week, Petrikor will participate in the Barcelona International Dance Exchange’s B>Meeting program, and event that offers creative exchange and networking between performing arts professionals worldwide. Artists benefit from speed dating events with other professionals, feedback sessions, open performances and more. Finally, our visit also coincides with the GREC Festival de Barcelona, a month-long international live arts festival. An opportunity for networking and inspiration, the GREC will introduce us to artists and producers from Australia, to Ghana, to France to Brazil!
