​Élise Bergeron
On vous presente Élise Bergeron, inteprete de Cuña depuis le débout du projet en 2017. À travers la pratique de la danse contemporaine, Élise penche son intérêt sur la rencontre humaine. Depuis sa sortie de L’École de Danse Contemporaine de Montréal en 2010, elle collabore principalement avec Emmanuel Jouthe, avec qui elle approfondie le rapport au spectateur dans un territoire de proximité en contexte de représentation.
À travers différentes collaborations de création (Atypique-Le Collectif, Lisanne Goodhue, Philippe Poirier) elle aborde des questionnements qui portent sur l’individu. Au cours des dernières année, son travail se penche sur la création de BLAAWE, un hymne au temps et à la transformation de l’humain à travers sa quête spirituelle.
En parallèle, elle développe une démarche pédagogique au sein de différents contextes. Elle assiste Sylvain Lafortune dans les cours de travail de partenaire de la formation professionnelle de l’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal et y enseigne les cours récréatifs pour adultes. En 2017, elle entame une formation en enseignement de la danse.
Élise Bergeron's main interest in her dance practice is the human encounter. She has been part of the team of Cuña since the begining in 2017. Since her graduation from the École de Danse Contemporaine of Montreal, she has collaborated principally with Emmanuel Jouthe, with whom she helps develop strategies for a close encounter with the audience in a performance setting.
Through collaborative création (Atipique le Collectif, Lisanne Goodhue, and Philippe Poirer) she raises questions regarding the human and its individuality. In the past she has been invested in the creation of BLAAWE, an anthem to time and the transformation of humans along their spiritual journey.
Her practice also expands to pedagogy, having a solid practice of teaching. She is a teaching assistant to Sylvain Lafortune on partnering classes at EDCM as part of their professional training program. Additionally, she teaches recreational courses for adults at the same institution. In 2017, she was part of the first generation to receive a dance teaching certification from the EDCM.
